    Total Lunar Eclipse

Tuesday, February 19, 2008, 09:37 PM EST [General]

Don't miss the beautiful lunar eclipse tomorrow (feb 20th)!!! It is the last total lunar eclipse until December 2010!!! So definitely try not to miss this awesome event!!

The eclipse will start at approximately 8:40pm Eastern time and will last about 3 and a half hours. ALSO!!!! The moon will appear to form a triangle with Saturn and Regulus (bright blue star)! The moon is expected to appear blood red, orange, and other reddish hues. If you are watching around 10pm eastern time and 11pm eastern time, watch very carefully because there should be a flash of turquoise around the edges of the moon, astronomers at nasa say it's because of the earth's ozone layer... I say it's magick ;-)

So try not to miss this event, bundle up with coats, scarves, hats, and mittens, make some hot tea and watch the amazingly magickal skies!!!
