I always feel very accomplished after I do my own taxes... this year especially!
It's the first year we get to file jointly as the happy married couple that we are, and I am definitely liking the consequences of doing that :-D
So, hopefully the refunds come soon because they are going towards the moving expenses. Speaking of moving expenses, we are inspired by how expensive everything is to start living more simply.
We have decided that we will try to make everything we need and only buy what we can't make, sounds easy... lol
Soooo... No more prepackaged granola bars (i'm going to start making them). No more eating out unless it's a special occasion, no buying clothes (for me, because I can just make the simple things), etc.
So, does anyone else do this? Anyone have any pointers, advice, or ideas for things that we could do to cut costs, waste, and all around yucky stuff?

Try this site: www.simplyliving.org/sl/ There's a group local to me who, I believe, are a part of this group. Maybe there's one near you too.
Pixie StyxI just got a great granola recipe from my sister, if you're interested in it.
I make my own soap so I can give you some pointers there, if you're interested in doing that.
